9:30 am – 1 pm: Westmoreland Bazaar

Come and shop! There’s something for everyone: White Elephants (household, home décor), Bottle Lottery (lotions, potions, edible items and drinkable libations), Treasures (unique and upscale items), Christmas Shop (ornaments, decor, gifts), Jewelry (lots of jewelry!), and the Bake Shop, filled with luscious homemade goodies.

 

Sunday, November 4

9 am: Bible Study (Parlor)

Children’s Choir (Room 40)

Childcare (Nursery)

 

10 am:
Worship

Scripture: Revelations 21:1-6b

Sermon: “Balcony People” Rev. Timothy Tutt

 

10 am: Church School

Today, children go directly to their classrooms and join the congregation for Communion during the service.

• 5 year olds – 3^rd Grade: Holy Moly! Stories of the Bible. (Room 26 – Red)
  
• 4^th – 6^th Grade:
  Jesus and His Kingdom of Equals. Learning about the land and teachings of Jesus and how we can live out his vision of equality and peace. (Rm 26 – Blue)
  
• 7^th – 12^th Grade: Faith & Film. Begins at 10 am. (Youth Room)
  

 

11:15 am: Coffee Hour and Board Fair (Social Hall)

Westmoreland’s Boards and Committees will be on display today so that you can learn about what each of them does as part of the important work of the church. Think you might want to join their work? There will be board members available to answer your questions. The Nominating Committee will be on hand to explain the skills, qualities and attributes needed for various leadership positions, including the Church Council. Refreshments will be served.

12 Noon: Board of Membership & Fellowship (Library)

 

12:15 pm: Adult Handbell Choir (Mabry Room)

 

4:30 pm: StillScreening Movie Group

The adult movie introduces us to the El Camino de Santiago. The kids’ movie includes a family of superheroes. Pizza follows the movie and discussion.

 

5 – 7 pm: Westmoreland 101: An Inquirer’s Conversation (Social Hall)
