The Westmoreland Festival Chorus, Orchestra, & Soloists will present Requiem Op. 9 by Durufle & Cantata BWV 4 “Christ lag in Todesbanden” by J.S. Bach.  Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez, Conductor.  A free-will offering will benefit Bethesda Cares.
Following the concert there is a reception and art exhibit of works by the late Martha Hill, Washington artist and member of Westmoreland 1974 – 2012.

  Rev. John Deckenback, our Central Atlantic Conference Minister, will describe his trip this month to Israel, a visit sponsored by dialogue-seeking Jewish groups. The 20+ participants included Jewish, Muslim, Catholic and Protestant clergy who visited historical sites and discussed current issues facing the region. The itinerary included a visit to the Syrian/Lebanon border in the Golan Heights.
